Throughout the years, Amanda Thiel, herbalist and owner of Isla Botanica, has cultivated medicinal and culinary herb gardens wherever she goes. From one end of Cascadia to another, she has tended gardens both big and small, growing over fifty species of plants for educational purposes and/or use in Isla Botanica’s products.

Isla Botanica currently wildharvests the local plants featured in their products, or gleans them from friends’ gardens. Other herbs are sourced from farms throughout the Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon) and other regional suppliers.
